Yukari Miyake Recently (As of May 11, 2020)

In my last article written in English, I mentioned that there are unprecedented movements on the Instagram site of Yukari Miyake.

Some photos and videos were uploaded, they are, her autograph with a message to support us who are under difficulties caused by Corona virus, her video of singing and another video showing her karate movement. They were uploaded one by one every several days, and every time surprised us very much with their contents.

And on very the day I wrote the article above, in the midnight, she again surprised us by uploading another item. It is her handwritten poem, and probably her original work.

Do you wonder what her poem written like?

   Are you interested in it?

It is very difficult for me to translate a poem, but I dared to try it. Please understand that the translated text is not in the form of English poetry.

wings of a butterfly

I wonder if this faded sky would show another expression, if I could be reborn

I once heard about butterflies we can see everywhere

”The flapping wings of small butterflies make the air waver, and result in a storm"

Once again…

Once again from here

Take off by spreading wings that yet can't be seen

Say "Farewell" to my anxiety

My future once at verge must be beautiful

My heartbeat, so slight that no one could feel,

starts to sound and shouts as if drowing out my suffering

Once again…

Once again from here

Take off believing in tomorrow that'll never collapse.

Say "Farewell" and never look back

My future once turned vague must be beautiful

Once again…

Once again from here

Take off by spreading wings that yet can't be seen

Say "Farewell" to my anxiety

The world not known to me must be beautiful

Now I can see the blue clear sky

And I certainly feel

It's wings of my own

How is it? I hope you can feel her poetry.

I've called this work "poem" several times earlier in this article, but it somehow looks like lyrics to me. I have a feeling that there might be a song with this poem as the lyrics. I would be happy if her video singing that song might be uploaded.
Of course, there is no guarantee that there exists such a song(╹◡╹)
