As I mentioned in earlier articles, Yukari Miyake joined the Training Squadron Band attached to the Overseas Training Force 2019, and in May, departed the Yokosuka Base for 5 months mission tour around Pacific nations.
Shortly before that, I found a fascinating site on Instagram. The name of the site was "Yukari Miyake", and there were 5 wonderful private photos of her that I have never seen before. They are as follow. Don't you think them wonderful?
I wondered who set up the site, Yukari Miyake herself did it? Otherwise very intimate friend of hers? However, there was no answer or even any hint there, for on the site only photos could be seen and no message.
After that, photos were added to the site at a slow pace, but there were still no message at all. The number of followers on this site is gradually increasing, but the site itself follows no one. In silence, only the number of wonderful photos on the site increased one by one.
I told to myself "What a cool site it is!" It seemed to me that those photos telling us one story or they were guiding us to some kind of significant event.
Even after she returned to Japan in October last year, photos of her at the training fleet's return home event and photos of newspapers with interview articles on her were posted. In addition, photos of her appearance at the concert were also posted.
However, because of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, the concert of the band could not be held, so no new photos were posted for a while.
However, at the end of last month, there was a completely different movement than ever on this site. The autograph of Yukari Miyake was suddenly posted with the first message written since the site started. That read, "Under the same sky, even if we are separated, my heart is side to yours, my heart is together with yours.
Overcome the present difficulties and see you again under the clear sky"
Yes, this is apparently a message of support to us who are forced to be in a difficult environment. And her kindness must have comforted many.
To my surprise, just a few days later, another unprecedented move was on the site. For the first time, her video was uploaded since the site started. A singer named Gen Hoshino has uploaded a video of a song that anyone can collaborate with in order to comfort many people who are forced to stay home. The title is "Let's dance at home"
Yukari Miyake collaborated her song on this video and released it on the site.
Her wonderful harmony with Gen Hoshino will heal the listener's heart.
And ... within a week or so, there was a movement that was really astonishing us, or rather mind-boggling. She is a master karate player, and she has the ability to run second in the All SDF Karatedo Championship two years ago. She who has such ability showed karate movement for the first time in a video. Her karate movement, which I've only seen in photographs so far, is so sharp that I lose words.
What's even more surprising is that the background music for this video is a song by a Japanese comedians used in their karate comedy. Everyone was amazed at her not only to come up with such an idea, but to do it off with a serious face.

However, the only thing I can say is that she completely defeated the shell of "a neat and pretty diva" that she has been wearing for a long time. And I think it must have greatly increased her potential as an artist.
