This is my first time to write in English since July of last year. I hope you all are well coping with present threat.
Due to the worldwide pandemic of the coronavirus, various daily activities have been severely restricted even in Japan, and of course, the Maritime Self-Defense Force Bands’ concerts can hardly be held.
Under such circumstances, I could hardly find news to introcuce in English covering the latest situation of Yukari Miyake.
However, in last several months there were some significant news of her, so this time I would like to introduce them to you.
You know, as I mentioned in my past articles, Yukari Miyake operates her own site on "Instagram", and uploaded many attractive photos and videos to it. And to our happiness, on the site, she showed her "petit" concert with her friends of the Yokosuka Band in live in April and July. When next? That's good question, she schedules to have her 3rd live on 11 September, yes, coming Saturday, from 1500.

There is another news.
On 1st of July this year, she finally got promotion to petty officer 2nd class!
With no concert held recently, the new rank insignia on har uniform is never be seen in live by her fans. I really saw the photos of her dressed in uniform with new insignia on her Instagram site recently, but they seemed to have deleted.
Anyway it's quite sure that she got promotion and we are looking forward to seeing her and her new rank insignia in the Yokosuka Band concert, scheduled on 3 October, 2021.
